Our grades and pay scales for vacant posts:

  • Social Worker £29,577 – £32,234
  • Advanced Social Worker £33,782 – £36,922
  • Senior Social Worker £37,890 – £40,876
  • Team Managers £47,778 – £52,120

You must already have completed your ASYE if you qualified since 2012.

All our newly appointed children’s social workers receive a one-time £3,000 welcome payment, our newly appointed Team Manager receive a one-time £5,000 welcome payment. This is payable after successfully completing your probationary period. To be eligible you will not currently, or previously, be employed directly by South Gloucestershire Council.
