About us

We believe that the people of South Gloucestershire deserve the best. Based in the community, our dedicated and highly motivated Occupational Therapy team put local residents’ needs to stay independent, safe and well at the heart of everything we do.

Working shoulder to shoulder with our social work team and partner agencies in health and housing, we provide advice, information and training. With a focus on helping people stay in their homes for longer, we provide equipment and make alterations within the home to allow people to live their lives in the way they want to.

How we work

We hold a varied case load, working in people’s homes, care settings, prisons and support discharges and transfers of care.

We follow the three conversations strength-based model, building relationships with individuals to help them achieve their goals.

We work autonomously, but within a highly supportive environment providing a comprehensive induction, monthly supervision and annual development reviews.

We’re committed to learning and continued professional development with a comprehensive training offer delivered by a dedicated training department.
